The course aims to provide students with a detailed view of the system of creation and valuation of life insurance products, explain the principles of the functioning of the insurance company and the entire insurance market, and explain the essence, functions and justification of the existence of insurance. The goal is to teach students to analyse and understand life and non-life insurance products, their creation and significance for society, the essence of creating technical reserves and the principles and essence of reinsurance. The course is implemented through lectures, where students are presented with the basic theoretical principles of the insurance issue, and then practical problems are discussed in the form of exercises, where they master the basic principles and procedures of actuarial calculations.
